When did you start training with Sheree? Started training in February 2012

List three gains you’ve made since commencing strength training: I’ve gone from being too unfit to walk to the top of the street without puffing, to being physically strong and fit enough to climb mountains, go kayaking, and lug furniture around.

What’s the most surprising result you’ve gained from strength training? I love it. I started as an act of absolute desperation with no real sense of hope or expectation of pleasure, and all these years later I can’t get enough of it.

Tell me about your favourite exercise or activity: I love the way we move from one activity and piece of equipment to the next. It’s never dull, every muscle is always worked and I’ve discovered I actually have abdominal muscles. Who knew?!

What does a typical day look like for you? I’m currently not working due to some health issues, so my days are filled with gym, writing (my memoir), editing, and helping people with their projects.

Tell me about your dream holiday: My husband and I were incredibly blessed to go on our dream holiday in 2018 – three months exploring 12 countries in Europe. And having the opportunity to explore Petra in Jordan, hiking up to the monastery a feat I could never have achieved before joining Spice!

How do you relax at the end of a hard day? Relax?

Tell me about a special skill or talent you have: I spent 36 years of my life as a musician – teaching and performing the flute. I’m now reinventing myself as a writer – I have a masters in journalism and I’m hoping to put it to good use. Starting with my memoir!
